A well-run promotion boosts sales; badly managed, it creates price inconsistencies and disputes. The Promotions module of Webshop Engine applies simple, reliable marketing discounts, with one golden rule: the same item is never discounted twice.

What this module is for

Putting a product in the spotlight, launching a commercial campaign, supporting a new release: promotions are an essential marketing lever. The risk, when you run several mechanisms at once, is that the same line accumulates multiple discounts and distorts both your margin and the display. This module lets you run your catalogue with peace of mind, with a price that is always correct and clear for the customer.

How it works

You define a marketing discount — a percentage or a reduced price — applied to the products of your choice. The module displays and calculates it consistently, from the catalogue to the basket. Above all, it includes anti-stacking logic with the Clearance module: if a line already has a discount, the promotion is not added on top. The first benefit applies, and only one — price and display stay aligned.

Activation

Promotions is an activatable module of Webshop Engine. It combines naturally with Clearance and B2B Pricing for a fully controlled pricing policy.
