Producer & origin information: showcasing provenance

Provenance has become a major selling point. The Producer & origin information module, currently in development, will display on each product page the identity of the producer and the origin of the product — a mark of transparency and quality.

What this module will bring

Knowing where a product comes from and who makes it reassures customers and builds loyalty. By highlighting producers and origin, your shop will showcase the work of your suppliers, support a local or quality-driven approach, and give your customers concrete arguments — particularly valued in the food trade.

How it will work

The module will add information about the producer (identity, address) and the origin to product pages. This data can be highlighted on the shop and used by other modules — for example Cross-marketing, which already suggests products of the same provenance.
