EAN Enrichment: complete product sheets in an instant
Filling in hundreds of product sheets by hand is a colossal task. The EAN Enrichment module of Webshop Engine completes your sheets automatically from the barcode, drawing on a large open product database.
What this module is for
The richness of product sheets makes the quality of a shop: exact name, brand, composition, nutritional information, scores… Entering all of this manually is slow, tedious and prone to omissions. This module does the heavy lifting for you: from the EAN, it retrieves and pre-fills the information, giving you complete and consistent sheets in a fraction of the time.
How it works
From a product's barcode, the module queries Open Food Facts, the large open food database, and automatically fills in the fields: name, brand, manufacturer, composition, nutritional information, Nutri-Score, Eco-Score, NOVA group and allergens. You keep control to check and adjust before publishing. Paired with Express Scan, enrichment is triggered directly after a scan.

Activation
EAN Enrichment is a module of Webshop Engine you can switch on. Together with Labels & barcodes and Express Scan, it forms the complete barcode-driven management chain.
