Labels & barcodes: EAN-13 built into your shop
The barcode is the cornerstone of a food catalogue. The Labels & barcodes module of Webshop Engine generates EAN-13 codes directly on your product sheets and prints your shelf labels, with no external software.
What this module is for
Managing products without barcodes means doing without any automation: no scanning, no consistent labelling, no link to product databases. This module lays the foundations: it associates each product with its EAN-13 code and lets you edit or print the matching shelf labels. It is the indispensable bedrock of a barcode-driven management chain.
How it works
The module generates an EAN-13 barcode compliant with the GS1 standard, shown on the product sheet, with a dedicated field to enter or correct the EAN. It also provides a printable shelf-label page, ready to be placed in store or in the stockroom. Everything is built into the shop, with no dependency on a third-party tool.

Activation
Labels & barcodes is an activatable module of Webshop Engine. It is the first link in the EAN chain, completed by EAN enrichment and Express scan.
