In the food trades, the cold chain is non-negotiable. The Cold-chain traceability module, currently in development, will help you simply record the temperatures of your equipment to build a reliable history.
What this module will bring
Documenting storage temperatures is both a hygiene requirement and a protection. By making these readings and their retention easier, this module will help you demonstrate that the cold chain is being respected, react quickly in the event of a deviation, and keep a usable record in case of an inspection.
How it will work
The module will record the temperature readings of your refrigerated units, with their time stamp, from a simple entry — for example a photo of a display, whose date and time serve as the reference. The readings will form a consultable history, attached to your business.
