Asparagus in spring, oysters in winter, chocolates at Easter: a large share of sales follows the calendar. Webshop Engine's Seasonal products module showcases a curated selection, over a defined period, with no discount whatsoever — just visibility, at the right moment.
What this module is for
Seasonality drives your customers' purchases. Rather than letting these products get lost in the catalogue, this module gives them a dedicated showcase at the moment demand is strongest. You highlight your offer, you guide the customer, and you increase the average basket — without eroding your margins, since this is about showcasing, not discounting.
How it works
You put together a selection of "seasonal" products and define the window during which it should appear. The module then displays a dedicated shelf on the shop throughout that period, then removes it automatically on the end date. The calculation is based on the shop's local time, so that the showcasing starts and stops exactly when you planned.

Seasonal products is an optional module of Webshop Engine. It pairs well with the New arrivals and Cross-marketing modules to give rhythm to the home page.
