TradingDesk: market analysis, properly tooled
TradingDesk is a web platform for the quantitative analysis of financial markets, developed by LBO Dev. Real-time tracking, backtesting, pattern detection, fundamental analysis: it brings together in a single tool everything you need to understand and study the markets, across several asset classes. It is one of our most technical case studies, and a showcase of our command of data.
The brief
Analysing the markets means cross-referencing a great deal of information: real-time prices, history, volatility, fundamentals, news. Scattered across several sources and several screens, this data is hard to make use of. TradingDesk was designed to bring it together into a single analysis workstation — clear and responsive — covering crypto-assets as well as equities (CAC 40, US stocks, targeted sectors).

A rich architecture
TradingDesk is some fifteen modules organised into tabs, built around interactive charts and a robust data foundation. This modularity has let it evolve over time: from a tool initially centred on crypto-assets into a multi-asset platform, able to take on new markets and new indicators.
Towards AI-augmented analysis
The project's trajectory points clearly towards artificial intelligence: turning the research tool into a genuine agent able to assist analysis, synthesise information and bring the essentials to the surface. A direction consistent with LBO Dev's positioning, where AI speeds up the work without replacing its rigour.
A showcase of our data expertise
Handling financial data in real time, visualising it clearly, running heavy computations and keeping a smooth interface: few projects are this demanding.
